Gary GrenterMr. Grenter has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry and most recently was the Group President for Spacelabs Healthcare and was responsible for all Operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  Prior to Spacelabs, Gary held the position of President and CEO for both Kyphon and Biolectron in the spine arena.  At Kyphon, Gary led the Company’s early growth and was responsible for the initial public offering (“IPO”) of Kyphon in 2002.  Prior to Kyphon, Gary successfully negotiated the sale of Biolectron to Biomet, Inc., one of the world’s largest orthopedic companies.  Mr. Grenter holds a B.S. in Production Management from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. in Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

 

J. Chris McAuliffe

Chief Operating Officer

Chris McAuliffe Mr. McAuliffe has over 26 years experience and success in building and managing medical device companies, and has raised a total of $33.5M in corporate financing through venture capital and private equity placements since 1995. Most recently, Mr. McAuliffe was Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Field Operations for Paradigm Spine, LLC, a market leader in motion sparing stabilization technologies, where he led field efforts to complete the company’s PMA IDE trial for Coflex™, and launched the DSS™ Spine Stabilization System in the US. Prior to Paradigm, Mr. McAuliffe was the Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing for Confluent Surgical (acquired by Covidien) and Endius Corporation (acquired by Zimmer Spine). Mr. McAuliffe’s undergraduate degree is in Biology from Bates College, and his Graduate Degree in Marketing and Business Management is from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

 

Robert McCulloch

Mr. McCulloch has over 25 years of strategic, finance, business development, “analytics”, administrative and operations experience in rapid growth life science and high-technology organizations, ranging from pre-IPO start-ups to large public companies. Before establishing a strategic corporate financial consulting company in 2006, Mr. McCulloch held the CFO and various senior-level posts at Silicon Valley companies including Epocrates, CardioVention, Somnus Medical Technologies, Target Therapeutics and Anthem Electronics. Mr. McCulloch's background is also complemented by an eight-year tenure with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. McCulloch is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants. Mr. McCulloch holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University.

 

Paul Chirico

Paul ChiricoMr. Chirico has over 25 years of accomplishments in driving the product development, marketing and sales for various medical companies in the global marketplace.  Most recently, he directed marketing and new product development for Micrus Endovascular Corporation.  Prior to Micrus, Mr. Chirico directed the Investor Relations and Corporate Marketing for Incyte Genomics, was VP of Marketing and Sales for Avocet Medical, Inc., a venture funded start-up, and drove the neurosurgical/spine product development for Laserscope and Aesculap Surgical Instruments.  Mr. Chirico holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
